My New Bottom Teeth

I opened this in my mail this week and it gave me quite a shock! I look so tired and old! My bottom teeth are spectacular though! Thanks to Doctor Simi I have a lasting before and after picture.

The Computer Room

The last several days Mike and I have been doing over the computer room. All the gadgets I have require a large amount of desk real estate, and I sorely needed more. Not to mention that the room really needed a good cleaning. I don’t know what it is, but electronics really do attract an awful amount of dust! It was so thick! We spent two days looking around trying to find a desk large enough to fulfill my needs. We were having a terrible time. Everything was too small, too cheaply made, or too expensive. I called our friend Billy in California to see what he suggested. He and his partner Andy own a home business and use a lot of computers and desks. Billy recommended we try IKEA. We hit the jackpot there! We bought this great kit that allows you to make the desk any size you want. We attached two corner desk tables and now have a desk/table for the whole side wall! It is a thing of beauty! I have a great office! Now there is no excuse for me to sell I have been meaning to on eBay.

Kathy Griffin On The A List

Tonight we went with our friend Chuck to see Kathy Griffin at the South Shore Music Circus. When we arrived I though I was at a bear event, because so many of our bear friends were also attending that night. In fact, I would say it was one of the most successful bear events I have attended recently, and it wasn’t even listed anywhere! About the show…what can I say? The show was fantastic! I generally do not like stand up comedy, but Kathy’s brand of celebrity dish is right up my alley. She has the courage to say what we are all actually thinking about those crazy Hollywood stars. I was a little worried that I had heard all her dish having seen all her Bravo and HBO specials, as well as her series, My Life on the D List. To my wonderful surprise, it was very fresh. I love how she continues a story from a previous encounter she has had with a celeb. She makes us feel that we are all her “girlfriends” and is updating the latest info. I wonder how it plays to people who don’t follow her, but our audience seemed to be with her all the way.Â I will definitely go out of my way to see her whenever she is in town. Kathy Griffin is strictly “A List” in my book!

Last Day

It’s almost over. Boo Hoo! We have had a wonderful time out here. I will miss it. I have so many wonderful memorÃes of L.A. and Disneyland from when I lived out here. It was a real treat to catch up with the wonderful, loving friends we have out here. I think I’ll miss you most of all! Many thanks to our parents for letting us do this. We love you!

Last night we met up with my wonderful frÃend, John. We met out here when I attended the American Academy of Dramatic Art in Pasadena, California. We are so much alike it is scary! We were the Lucy and Ethel of the 80′s…always trying to sneak into the movie studios! Such adventures we had as starstruck kids!

Tonight we had dinner with my dear friend, Judy Francesconi. Judy Francesconi is the premiere artist ofÂ women photography. We first met over 20 years ago when I needed headshots for my acting career. I had taken a class with Lani O’Grady and she told me her great headshots had come from this amazing woman. Disneyland 2006 Day One

We made it! It was a long flight out here. I think I am getting too old for long air travel. There is just no room in the seats and they are so uncomfortable. We went to Rainforest Cafe for dinner and it was delicious. We tried the new Tower of Terror at California Adventure and really liked it. It is different from Walt Disney World’s but is really fun. We also got a chance to try the new Space Mountain. I like the special effects that they have added, as well as the new soundtrack, but the ride is more fun at Walt Disney World. We gotta hit the hay as we are jet lagged and exhausted. More tomorrow.
