I'm not certain which of the candidates I will choose to support at this point (2011 for 2012), but why not offer some 'real' reasons why you do not support this candidate instead of likening him to former acquaintances of yours who are obviously 10x better looking than you. Try shaving so you lose the lumberjack look and maybe you will actually get a part. Oh, and actors are all 'phonies'--it's called a-c-t-i-n-g! Maybe that's another reason you didn't get a part!
