October

October’s here again.

Oh, how I revel in it!

Those trees with orange and scarlet,

the chilly morning rising,

and where’d I put the sweaters?

I’d long for spring with daffodils and greening trees,

but I enjoy the fall.

It’s such a pretty world!

I’ll shout for joy when winter comes,

rejoice when snowflakes fall

and Jack Frost coats the windows.
